The Department of Foreign Affairs on Friday, April 27, announced it will accept online appointment for passports only until June 30.
This is “in preparation for the enhancement of the passport online appointment system through implementation of ePayment” according to a public advisory.
The ePayment will make the application process faster by enabling applicants to pay in advance through convenient payment channels minimizing the number of no-show applicants and opening up more appointment slots.
Slots for May and June remained open while the ePayment pilot testing is ongoing, the DFA said.
