The Department of Transporation (DOTr) and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) inaugurated the San Vicente Airport (SVA) in Palawan today, May 10.
The San Vicente Airport is the gateway to country’s first Flagship Tourism Enterprise Zone masterplanned by urban planner Palafox Associates. It boasts of the longest white beach in the Philippines, the San Vicente Long Beach, at 14-kilometers spanning four barangays.

The construction of the Php 62.7 million airport began in 2009 and was officially opened to light aircrafts in June 2017. SVA will soon cater to commercial flights following the inauguration.
